Good place for reptiles what Steve don't know ain't worth worrying about
Not a huge selection. I was looking for a collar for my dog but they only stock a few and they need to order items in. That's fine but if you don't like it when it comes you've wasted days waiting for it. I prefer to see things and decide by the look and feel as to the quality of the item. It's quite a small shop downstairs which stocks pet foods etc which is handy. They have an upstairs which I believe has reptiles and other more specialist pets but I haven't been up there. Small family type business and would use them for some of our pet food needs.
Lots of choice for feed, toys & accessories for your pet's and garden wildlife. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. Check them out for yourself.
I really enjoyed the experience of buying my new Budgie at the shop a few hours ago. The lady in the shop, Maria, was really helpful and gave good, friendly service.I have already taught the Budgie to 'Step Up' from one index finger to the other already, so things look promising. She doesn't get spooked or anything, is very calm, hand tame and has settled down nicely.I have left her now to have a good night's rest in her new cage.Thank you Maria. Not the best pet shop I've ever been to if I'm honest. I've been there with my family 3 times now and each time felt hurried round and felt like we were in the way. Every time we move to one area that's the area the staff want to be. Once we were told they were going to an animal show which is lovely but to shove boxes all infront of us then tell us we have to go down stairs now and can't look around anymore wasn't so lovely, so that meant we couldn't ask to buy the bird we wanted.Wont be returning again
