Nice in winter. On a hot day in summer it really would have benefitted by some trees around the kids play area and the lakes. Could do with a decent little cafe
Reasonable country park consisting of numerous lake, hedgerow lined paths, and meadow area. Public toilets. Nice place for a spot of bird watching or walking the dpg

It's an accessible, varied green place for people, their dogs,family and friends to enjoy the freedom of flat, solid paths and bridges, lovely lakes, and some family-friendly exercise stations. There are water-based sports, which require some tuition and membership. Adequate parking is available at reasonable prices. Adjacent to the car park, are clean toilets, helpful rangers on hand for information and advice, and free guides to the animals and birds you are likely to see there. The park is accessible for wheelchair users, and there are plenty of wooden bench seats to rest on.The grass spaces beside the paths can get muddy, due to over use when wet. Sometimes, people don't supervise their children/dogs in a responsible manner.
Cannot fault this place. It's beautifully kept, easily accessible and parking is very reasonable at just 1.20 for 4 hours! Lovely little play park for the children, you can do short walks or really long walks so is suitable for everyone. Wheelchair users and pushchair friendly on the designated paths. The water is so clear! Really lovely place I can't wait to return! Highly recommend going.
