Great cakes, but they close too early.
9 time out of 10 the sausage rolls are cold and hard, the staff are the moody and will serve you after they have finished their conversation, and they charge sausage rolls for 90p... Whereas you can get a pack of 6 across the road form Coop which are somehow more warm than the bakery's.
After just moving to Snodland I thought I'd treat myself & my brother to some tasty cream cakes after some heavy graft in the garden. The first thing that struck me was the surly service I experienced and secondly after paying 2.80 for a cream horn and a chocolate clair my brother and I were very disappointed to discover that both our cakes had gone to stale cake heaven. we shall not be returning and will now favour co op across the road for our cake treats.
Very basic local bakery - which is fine - but 1 each for tiny cupcakes! When the often extortionate Co-op is cheaper, there must be a problem. Proper moody staff too.
Never tasted Brown bread that is tasteful and morish before having a loaf from this amazingly friendly bakery in Snodland. If I was allowed I would be tempted to the other treats on sale. Now I will only buy my Brown bread from here.
